Program Overview Rally Cap 2026 Season 

The Rally Cap Program is designed to enrich the initial experience of players and coaches with baseball. It focuses on teaching the five FUNdamentals of the game in a fun and safe setting. Through various activities, players have the chance to earn a Baseball Canada Rally Cap in different colors, each representing a specific level of achievement. The program aims to introduce the basics of baseball, fostering a greater interest in the sport at its grassroots level.  For more information on the Baseball Canada Rally Cap Program click here

2022 Rally Cap

Players will participate in one weekly activity session featuring skill-building stations designed to develop their abilities and foster a love for the game. For players born in 2022, a parent or guardian is required to be on the field to support their child throughout the session. Sessions are held once per week, last 45 minutes, and take place on Mondays from 5:15-6:00 PM at Al Arner Diamonds.

2021-2019 Rally Cap

Players born between 2019-2021 will participate in two weekly activity sessions featuring skill-building stations designed to develop their abilities and foster a love for the game. Sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15 PM at Al Arner Diamonds.

 

Season Start: First week of May (weather permitting)

Season End: Approximately Last week of June (weather permitting)

Days of the Week: 2022 will be Mondays, 2021-2019 will be Monday and Wednesday.

Time: 2022 5:15 -6:00, 2021-2019 5:15-6:15

Program Goals

  • Foster a fun and engaging environment where both children and adults actively participate in the game of baseball.
  • Develop fundamental motor skills while teaching essential baseball techniques and basic rules to players.
  • Provide opportunities for success, with a focus on promoting good sportsmanship.
  • Boost self-esteem.

  • Outdoor running shoes. Cleats if the athlete prefers (no metal)
  • CSA approved baseball helmet
  • Baseball glove
  • Bat
